What information do we collect?

We use cookies to track web site usage. A cookie is a text file automatically issued to your computer when you visit a website. Cookies are used to track the flow of traffic through a web site and identify the computer on any future visits to our site. The information stored in a cookie is not used to identify a particular user, just the computer used to access the site. By accepting a cookie you will allow information about your computer such as your internet browser type, screen resolution and location country to be used to compile anonymous statistics about visits to the web site.

When you fill in our Request a Quote form or make a Online Enquiry that data is held securely for a period of 30 days. After that date the data is deleted from our server. We do not store any financial information such as credit card details. If you have any queries please email us at enquiries@moving-tyneside.co.uk

This website uses Google Analytics

The data that Google Analytics uses to provide all the information in your reports comes from these sources:

  • The HTTP request of the use
  • Browser/system information
  • First-party cookies

The HTTP request for any web page contains details about the browser and the computer making the request, such as the hostname, the browser type, referrer, and language. In addition, the DOM of most browsers provides access to more detailed browser and system information, such as Java and Flash support and screen resolution. Analytics uses this information in constructing reports like the Map OverlayBrowser, and Referring Sites reports. Analytics also sets and reads first-party cookies on your users’ browsers in order to obtain user session and any ad campaign information from the page request. The Google Analytics Tracking Code also reads the DoubleClick cookie to get information about the Display Features.

When all this information is collected, it is sent to the Analytics servers in the form of a long list of parameters attached to a single-pixel GIF image request. The data contained in the GIF request is the data sent to the Google Analytics servers.

This data is primarily used to optimise our website for our visitors, however we will use this data for marketing purposes. An example of how this data could be used for marketing purposes would be to tell potential advertisers how many visitors we get to the website, where our visitors come from, and how they arrive at our website. This data DOES NOT include any personalised identification information such as:-

  • Names
  • Phone Numbers
  • Email Addresses
  • Mailing Addresses
  • Bank Account Numbers
  • Credit Card Information

Thank you, if you have any queries or questions please email us atenquiries@moving-tyneside.co.uk

We do not use any of the information you give us to market to you in anyway, nor do we sell on this information to any third parties.
